Acupuncture has been shown in studies to greatly help with diabetic neuropathy as well as blood sugar levels. I have developed a protocol for treating diabetes by balancing blood sugar that works quite well as shown in the case study below. The points that I treat also help with sweet cravings, back pain and ‘tuning up’ the body.
Case History:
Diabetes Type II uncontrolled with medication and diet thus far:
Forty year old female patient comes in with ongoing blood sugar between 270-300 fasting. She is on insulin and checks her levels twice per day. Below are treatment dates and blood sugar levels. Patient had acupuncture on each of these dates below and took a homeopathic remedy and herbal formula for diabetes from the first date. There were no diet changes, as she said she was already on a diabetic diet. Her doctor was happily surprised at the great results. First week of treatment:
